not only cant you spell, but you're gay bashing in 2008.... poor thing!!!!!!!! Its just a salon.... they do good work they sell shampoo... its very simple. Do the people of maui really care about "city search" or that someone might have been not so nice wile shopping for shampoo.... i don't think so!!! GROW UP, MOVE ON.... and have some aloha!

Its funny how just little words can ruin just about anything. I was a customer of Maui Hair and Body but moved to the west side and found a great salon to take care of me. I found out about this site from my hair girl to say some nice things about them and I find this on Maui Hair and Body. Too bad that it's runned by such a two faced part owner Mary Backwell and her gay partner Rob Toscani. Surprised to hear that Mary W is still there and brown nosing. I feel sorry for all the workers because a few of them are worth something and are good at what they do. But with the economy being so slow, they can't leave such a black hole to find another job. All I can say is "good luck" to the workers and I hope you all open your own place.
Customer Service Lacking

I was a long time customer of Maui Hair and Body and have to agree with the other people. Their customer service is lacking and it is like a "ghost town". I asked the employees if it's been busy and she said it has been slow lately and I'm guessing that is why there is hardly anybody there.
The customer service was below average. I went one day to get waxed and for some hair product. When I went to get waxed, I did get greeted at the counter, but when I was glimpsing over the products no one even asked if I needed help. I have gone to other salons and their customer service is better and that is why I return. They greet the customer, offer them water, and are on time. It is a very welcoming environment and I feel Maui Hair and Body lacks that. If Maui Hair and Body were up to par with their customer service standards, I'm sure they wouldn't be so slow when it comes to booking appointments.
And to the person who says she worked there, I'm sorry, but your opinion is biased due to the fact that you worked there and there is no need to get so defensive. And this post is REAL, not FAKE.
