When we went to Maui we wanted t o get. When we went to Maui we wanted t

o get a jeep that could take us to the less traveled spots on the island. The jeep we ended up with, a standard hard top, was amazing at off-roading. We had a great time with the older jeep and really appreciated the hard top when it began to pour in Hana. However, the jeep was also handy when we went to the beach and cruised around Lahaina. When we rented the jeep it was clean but it tracked in a some dirt. We didn't really mind. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone that likes driving a jeep and wants to experience a different side of Maui.

DO YOUR RESEARCH AND CHECK FOR REVIEWS!. I feel it only fair to tell any and all who are looking for a rental car for their vacation trip, to make sure that they either go with one of the more larger "known" companies or make sure that they have checked out the smaller company that they do decide to go with - maybe check to see if they have good reviews or if you already know of someone who has used them before. Otherwise, you might find that once you get all the way to Hawaii...the website does not reflect at all what you really get. i.e. the website might show a new vehicle and you get to the rental place and they give you a vehicle that is falling apart...literally. And of course, that is all that is available! So...please BE CAREFUL when renting a car online from smaller businesses without doing your research! (I am not comfortable giving this company any stars, but it makes you give it "something"!)
