This 15-acre resort is located on one of Wailea's most beautiful waterfronts, Mokapu Beach. It is landscaped with an assortment of waterfalls, bridges and tropical plants. It epitomizes the beauty of the Hawaiian islands.

The Details
Originally built in 1978, the property reflects barefoot luxury and outdoor elegance in every detail. During a 1990 revamp, the lobby was outfitted with marble and limestone; hand-blown Italian glass wall sconces were added, and a grand stairway overlooking the ocean and gardens was completed. Amenities such as VCRs and Bath & Body Works lotions grace the guest rooms. The staff is noted for their friendliness and genuine "aloha spirit."
