A super-resort whose pristine setting and first-class service leave many a guest feeling reluctant to leave the property.. In Short
This 40-acre resort is comprised of three towers that overlook a white sand beach. Rooms are spacious, with private balconies and luxurious amenities. Despite the proximity to the surf, most guests seem to prefer the giant meandering pool wih a convenient cocktail bar and 150-foot lava tube slide. The grounds are lush, with swinging rope bridges, cascading waterfalls, bubbling streams and a wide assortment of birds tended by a wildlife staff. A variety of activities such as yoga, lei-making, rooftop stargazing, and a nightly hula and torch-lighting ceremony offer something for kids and adults alike. The 9,000-square-foot Spa Moana is Hawaii's first oceanfront spa and the first full-service luxury spa on Kaanapali Beach. Dining options run the gamut from Spat's Trattoria (classic Italian) to Son'z at Swan Court (contemporary dining in a gorgeous setting).

Regency Club is the way to go.. My husband and I stayed on the 22nd floor, regency club, at the Hyatt. We had a full ocean view room... and waking up everyday to the sound of the ocean was heavenly! The service here was excellent. And, they have a fantastic italian restaurant called Spatz in the hotel... great for dinner, if you don't want to leave the hotel. The swan court is also a great restaurant of dinner if you want to stay at the resort (the swan court also serves a buffet breakfast that is pretty fantastic as well). And we loved the penguins, parrots and beautiful pale pink swans that are on the resort's premises. The swim-up bar is a plus.... and one of our favorite things about being a regency club guest is the free yummy chocolate cookies we get daily at the club lounge........ by far the best chocolate chip cookies! yay!

The best in Kaanapila. Hyatt Kaanapila is the far and away best resort on the world famous Kaanapila Beach. Hyatt Kaanapila has the best pool, the best grounds - Hyatt Kaanapila is the place for your Honeymoon or Anniversary. When you want the best Maui has to offer - come to Hyatt Kaanapila.
