Great for a Quick Drink or Two. I visited Maui a few months ago and had the pleasure of stopping for a drink at MOOSE McGillycuddy's on Front Street in Maui. The service was great, and the food at the other tables looked wonderful. Unfortunately, we did not eat because we had eaten about an hour before down the street at another resturaunt. There were definately some regulars in there and they were very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. They were the only ones to recognize my Napoleon Dynamite shirt. I would definately recommend stopping here, whether it be for food, drinks, or just to check out the view and their memorabilia.

Favorite on Maui for the Money. Best value on the Island for food and beer. Happy Hours are a must for beer drinkers and the food was excellent and not expensive. They have the usual bar fare but also had some very nice dishes you might not expect. The fish was excellent. But my FAVORITE were the dadgum Onion Rings. Huge portion and the best I've had anywhere for years. I may even fly back....all the way from Florida for those Onion Rings one day.

Nice Spot. Definately one of the only places that stays open late during the week. they run great drink specials and the food is not bad. the staff is real good.

Tuesdays are great!. We visited the bar on Tuesday night and were pleasantly surprised by the ambience, daily special, and overall atmosphere. We didn't get a chance to taste any of the food because the kitchen was closed by the time we got there but we weren't that upset. Definitely a place for college-aged people on the island.

Left angry. After spending a week in Lahaina we had visited Moose's at least 5 times for either meals or drinks. The breakfast food is good, very reasonably priced and the atmosphere overlooking Front Street is great. However, the happy hour mixed drinks are weak they gave us pineapple slices that were not ripe..YUK! We also had a very bad service experience when we ate breakfast there our last day of vacation.
