Spacious condos in Maui's most tourist-friendly haven.. The Scene
This is one of the most consistently popular condo resorts in the Kaanapali area. The matched sets of 12-story buildings are known for their pleasant furnishings (lots of wicker and Polynesian decor), excellent views and first-rate beach access. Excellent views embrace Molokai and Lanai.

The Details
Unfortunately, this property's popularity doesn't guarantee you a lot of peace. You're right in the middle of the tourist muddle at Whalers Village next door. This huge shopping complex feels more like it belongs in Chicago than sedate Hawaii. Still, the resort holds its own with 360 units, each individually decorated and featuring a private lanai. The amenities of the entire Kaanapali resort--tiki bars, spas, shopping, whale-watching excursions and huge swimming pools--are at your doorstep.
