Truly Paradise. These condos are very large. Our "one bedroom" was over 1400 square feet and is really a two bedroom with two bathrooms washer/dryer, full kitchen. It was spotless, beautifully maintained and had stainless steel appliances and a great ocean view with a large Lanai.

The Kaanapali Alii is located right on the best part of Kaanapali beach.

There are eight well-maintained BBQs down by the small pool where you can grill your fresh fish or whatever. People complain about the size of the pool. The nearby Hotels have "theme park" pools with fountains slides and Pirates of the Caribbean look. If you need that for your kids then this is not the place for you. The ocean is right there and you can see the whales breaching (in season) and the dolphins playing. The condos are all privately owed so they vary in decor and quality. Ask for an "upgraded unit". Classic Resorts manages the place and it is helpful to deal directly with them. We have stayed in many different hotels and condos in Hawaii and this is our favorite. There are many restaurants in walking distance. You can walk to Black Rock and snorkel with the turtles and reef fish. Truly paradise.
