Best for Maui.
Best Thai food in Maui without a doubt. From the price to the food. I will say they can be a little rushed or distracted at times. But its a real family business, complete with family troubles some times. After discovering it and as a native NewYorker. the Tofu satay is some of the best I have ever had. The salads are fair but the Curries are insanely fabulous. This place is not insanely priced like all other restaurants in Maui are. Tell Jon Aloha for me.....

Not like Thai in LA.
I ate here once. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice w/chicken. It was edible but not great compared to the Thai restaurants I eat at in LA (Sompun) and Scottsdale (Thai Thai). The rice was a little soggy and didn't have much flavor. It needs more spice in general and more "hot" spice. It did have some veggies, fruit in it, but the pineapples were from a can. Overall, I might give them one more chance with a red curry dish, but I was pretty disappointed with the rice.

Extremely bad service and rude behavior.
Food is barely tolerable. But service is extremely poor. The waiters and owner are ruide and obnoxious. Because of its location close to the Airport, they feel they are in demand and can be as nasty as they want. There are many excellent Thai food restaurants in Maui. Keep away from this one. It is not worth the cost and the horrible service to go to this restaurant. It is unfortunate that a beautiful place like Maui would tolerate such bad behavior and miserable service. Tourism is important to Hawaii and such restaurants take away from the charm of the place.
