Outstanding

We recently tried Sarento's for the first time and were very impressed. It's a fairly expensive restaurant, but worth the price. The service was outstanding - they took our drink orders right away and had bread and water on the table within two minutes of us sitting down. The portions were decent sized and the quality of food was delicious. I highly recommend the profiteroles for dessert. We were encouraged to take our time and enjoy the evening which we did - thoroughly.

Disappointing.....

Unfortunately it was a very disappointing birthday dinner experience. The service was poor - a long wait before we were asked about our wine order, specific food allergies ignored, server broke a glass of water at our table, steak not cooked as requested, and overall a very rushed feeling with service. The salmon appetizer would have been delicious if only the chips were crisp. They were soggy. Although the steak was overcooked, it was well seasoned and tasty which was a plus. The veal dish my husband ordered was fine. Not a memorable meal for the prices charged = won't be back anytime soon....
